Last week, the Chamber of Southern Arizona welcomed a delegation of German companies exploring international business partnerships and investment in our region. The delegation surveyed Tucson’s assets with a focus on sustainable solutions in waste management and recycling, like the Los Reales Sustainability Campus.

Chamber Vice President of Economic Development Daniela Gallagher joined city and county staff to highlight what makes our region ideal for business growth in Arizona:

The Chamber’s presence extended to an exclusive networking event in Phoenix. There, Chamber staff met with the German Consul of Los Angeles, the CEO of the German American Chamber of Commerce West, and the full business delegation. Each company pitched its product or service, then engaged in one-on-one conversations about doing business in Southern Arizona. These conversations, in turn, created direct opportunities for investment and partnership. As a result, they highlighted the region’s growing potential for international business expansion.
In addition, our Economic Development initiatives continue to attract national and global attention. The Chamber’s role as a connector between international stakeholders and regional leaders positions Southern Arizona for sustainable, strategic growth.
