The Chamber of Southern Arizona Announces New VP Hire

The Chamber of Southern Arizona has hired Chad DeLong as its vice president of business development and investor growth.

Chad recently relocated to Southern Arizona from his native Montana, bringing with him more than 35 years of economic development and business leadership experience — but leaving his snow boots behind.

“I love Tucson already, and I’m thrilled and grateful to be here,” Chad says.

A graduate of the University of Montana, Chad’s work has also taken him to Colorado, New Mexico, and Kansas. He has focused on building partnerships that connect industry, education, workforce development, and economic opportunity.

“Chad’s experience reflects his longtime commitment to collaborative economic development and to creating the partnerships, talent pipelines, and industry infrastructure that help businesses and communities grow,” says Joe Snell, the Chamber’s president and CEO. “He’ll play a critical role in expanding our reach to businesses and potential partners across the region. We’re lucky to have him.”
